Bridgework came together in 2006 with John Renaud on lead vocals and guitar, Scott Witzenburg on drums, Erik Kutzler on bass, and Jack Sparks on lead guitar. Together, they played numerous shows in the Los Angeles area, and released their first collective
EP "World Disappears" in 2008. During this time, Jack was often out of town for work so Bridgework mainly played as a 3 piece.
In late 2008, Erik moved to Richmond VA, and in early 2009 Scott moved to Dallas TX.
John went back to his roots in 2009 playing solo acoustic gigs, while still promoting the Bridgework name. He released a 4 song solo EP at the end of 2009, and is expected to release more "Bridgework" material in 2010.
