HIS EXTENSIVE MUSICAL KNOWLEDGE FROM OBSCURE INDIE BANDS TO EARLY 20TH CENTURY BLUES MAKES HIS MUSIC STAND ON ITS OWN RELATIVE TO THE BANDS OUT THERE TODAY. *Kyle Gerardi (23 y/0 Singer/Guitarist/Songwriter) has booked over 300 shows for DINCI VA in the last three years.
*DINCI VA has written/ recorded over 250 songs from 2005-2008
*DINCI VA has played at just about every club in Los Angeles/Hollywood, and have played in Oregon and all over Washington State as well on a mini tour of about 30 shows.
*DINCI VA sold over 100 of their self recorded 18 song cd three days after receiving them, and we kept the rest for labels and marketing. We plan on recording at a better studio and to have and engineer this time to get the sound we want and need.
*Kyle Gerardi Headlined Oregon’s Off The Grid Music Festival, and was the only Musician to be asked to play three times. He was also chosen to be interviewed for the Eugene paper, with the story and the picture being on the cover as well as being covered on local news channels. Kyle was also the main engineer for the whole festival.
*DINCI VA’S song Dystopia Is regularly played on UCLA Bruin College Radio
*DINCI VA is known for their wild stage antics, putting on an ecstatcly entertaining show, without compromising their musicianship.
*DINCI VA has been offered a full contract from Full Entertainment for Licensing and Distribution, as well as a contract from a Major Label that we will not name, though the terms were not up to our standards as musicians so we are still unsigned at the moment.
*DINCI VA was one of the bands that were chosen out of hundreds of applicants to have a song on a compilation cd that is part of a new Alice In Chains book.
*DINCI VA’S main force Singer/Songwriter Kyle Gerardi writes and records the vocals, rhythm and lead guitar, synthesizers, piano, and bass, with the help of Zak Hudson on some of the songs for bass. His songwriting style sets DINCI VA aside from the other bands of today
*Radio Free Silver lake, an internet radio station, played Samo and Will Before Being a week after Kyle sent them in
*DINCI VA is booked for a residency at the Cat club in January
*DINCI VA played a residency at Shadowland for a month in Dec 08’ in West Seattle
*DINCI VA plans on playing around Los Angeles until February, record new material, and then go on a tour throughout the U.S. as we did before, though hitting most of the states and making it a full tour this time. We also plan on getting merchandise for our fans; t-shirts, picks, hoodies, posters, etc. Our fan base is not strictly from Ca, Wa, and Oregon either; we have obtained fans from all over the U.S.
*DINCI VA has tons of material waiting to be recorded, ranging in styles from indie alt rock to blues rock to folk acoustic to hard rock and everything in between.
*DINCI VA’S intelligent and meaningful lyrics set them aside from many bands
* DINCI VA has played and recorded non stop and understands what it takes for a band to tour all the time, record albums, do interviews etc.
*DINCI VA songwriter Kyle Gerardi constantly writes new material and is an extremely gifted songwriter, well ahead of his time both lyrically and musically
* The Knitting Factory put together A Cd Release Party for us, and they put together a great list of signed bands from out of state to open for us.
*DINCI VA has a do it yourself attitude and has done everything from recording their album, to making flyers, making the album art work, booking shows, promoting shows, turning down a major label deal due to artistic freedom issues, and the list goes on, music is their lives and they wont let it be compromised.
*DINCI VA is extremely efficient in the studio, nailing their parts in one take normally (it took only one week to record and mix their 18 song cd, and although the quality of the recordings and mixes are very rough and raw, that had nothing to do with the musicianship of the band)
*DINCI VA’S band members have all been in numerous bands, and have been playing live in different bands for over 8 years now, giving us a lot of experience.
