Johnny O'Donnell is the current manifestation of "The Gothic Singer'', the folkloric anchorite who returns each year to proffer blessed gifts and sonic tonic to the desiring. Breaching across the vast interior of the Los Angeles diaspora The Gothic Singer attempts to coax the dispelled wraith of Douglas Fairbanks into existence through musical intercession.
Lauren Everett is acolyte to Johnny and adversary to the dull and dim-witted. Birthing the simple through sheer force hi-jinks is a tenet. An admixture of American popular music is prepared in these instances.
