After having had some high-profile keyboard touring gigs with such rock luminaries as Jane’s Addiction, The Mars Volta, and Bitter:Sweet, Linda Good takes her own turn at the spotlight with her solo CD “Love Is a Curious Thing." Also one half of the twin-sister fronted alt pop band, The Twigs, Linda shows a darker side of pop on her new release. The CD has a film-noir-like quality underlying wry lyrics and infectious electronic loops sparkled with acoustic touches. Linda produced the record, as well as played most of the instruments including piano, guitar, percussion and accordion. Influenced by such wide-reaching artists as Sergio Mendes to Neil Young to Radiohead, the CD shows off her masterful songwriting and production skills.
