Panic Movement formed in the spring of 2006 in Los Angeles, California. The band derived its name from the performance art collective established in 1962 by Alejandro Jodorowsky, Fernando Arrabal, and Roland Topor. Panic Movement is an amalgamation of individual band member influences and personalities. Various artists such as The Beatles, Sonic Youth, Killing Joke, Joy Division, The Kinks, and the Electric Light Orchestra have influenced members of Panic Movement. Psychology, spirituality, cinema, and the punk DYI ethic have also influenced the band. Panic Movement band members are Benjamin Espinoza, Richard Bermudez, and Tony Siqueido. Willie’s neighbor, Mr. Morris, who studied ventriloquism, was found standing naked by the nearby school yard, yelling through a portable loudspeaker toward a group of kids, calling out, "little boys in the yard come over to me and pet my dog."
