Pauline Laciste plays intricate icicle-rhythms on an old electric Yamaha piano against the soft warmth of her voice.
She sings over strange rhythms and harmonies that verge on dissonant sounds, but eventually gravitate back to a melodic center.
She creates electro-acoustic sonic collages to weave into her songs.
Her live shows have often featured beautiful saw music by Sonya Palencia and driving, melodic bass riffs by Jeff Nentrup.
