About
Beloved for their candid lyrics, impeccable punctuality and mediocre grooming, Wires in the Walls is quickly becoming a new favorite within Los Angeles’ music community. These four native east-coasters weave an eclectic blend of guitar-driven indie rock with a diverse array of instruments such as accordion, banjo, trumpet and euphonium to achieve a sound that ranges from delicate and beautiful to powerful and expressive. With a focus on storytelling, catchy melodies and rocking beats, Wires in the Walls continues to create an instant connection with listeners of all ages, backgrounds and shoe sizes.

The band formed when singer-songwriter Warren Sroka and his longtime collaborator, bassist Nick Tracz, connected with drummer Bryan King in the summer of 2008. Having just arrived from Virginia, Bryan was excited to find two musicians in LA who shared his love of alt-country and whiskey. After some convincing, Bryan was able to persuade childhood friend and fellow Virginian Thomas Orgren to relocate to the West Coast, filling out the group's sound on guitar and keys. With that lineup in place, Wires in the Walls' rugged determination and do-it-yourself attitude helped them to book their own tours, print their own t-shirts, and even build their own practice studio.

In just over a year, they’ve managed to record two EPs, tour the East Coast, and play all over their new hometown of Los Angeles. Their latest offering Call Signs is a 4-song EP that features fan favorite, “Gasoline,” and new tracks “Twin Jet Engines,” “Take Care,” and “Seen it Coming.” Shortly after completing the recording, Orgren moved back to Virginia and the band recruited Portland native David Irelan to replace him. Call Signs will be released on April 6th.
